Visual artist Diana Scherer (1971, DE) is one of the pioneers in bio tech art.

Scherer lives and works in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, where she studied fine art at the Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam. Her work comprises botany, installations, textile and biotechnology. Scherer explores the relationship of people versus their natural environment.

This book summarized the project Interwoven and its results over the past eight years. The book with a conceptual design addresses biotechnology and research, in addition to the final results and artworks.
